GWTA Nebraska State Directors Review

Wow!!!!! Becky and I were definitely looking forward to our new job as Nebraska State Directors, but it came about a little sooner than we had anticipated, but hey, I guess we are ready and may as well hit the ground running.

We are very proud to have been asked to take over as State Directors and at the same time we feel very humble and a little intimidated by it all. When we look around the state of Nebraska and see all the experience and abilities of our members it makes us both realize that we are a couple of “green horns.” Really, with this much experience within the state, how can we possibly go wrong? We will be calling on most of you from time to time for guidance and recommendations.

Becky and I both feel that Region C is a leader within the national GWTA family and Nebraska is a leader within Region C. We think that kind of puts us all on top. We got there by the folks in this state and your commitment to GWTA and willingness to work together to make this thing all work. It is the active and supportive members that make this whole thing come together. You folks are the wind in the GWTA sails.
As State Directors, Becky and I will act as the rudder.

As you all probably know, Becky and I spent a considerable amount of time without a motorcycle, but continued to enjoy the fellowship of the dinner rides (we may have quit riding for awhile but we never quit eating) and the folks that have become our friends over the years. I think that’s what GWTA is really all about and the fact that we all ride motorcycles is icing on the cake.

Don’t look for any grand plan to change a thing. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” that’s an old saying that I’m sure your all familiar with and I think it works in this case. Nebraska just needs to keep on doing what it’s doing and continue to be the leader in GWTA

In closing just let me say that Becky and I look forward to working with each and every one of you as time goes by. Rest assured that Nebraska is our priority and plan to work hard to keep it on top.
